-There are several variations to handshake trance inductions and many involve handshake interrupts as demonstrated by Milton Erickson and Richard Bandler.
-Other handshake inductions and techniques were developed by Dave Elman.
-One such technique was to use three handshakes, each one signalling movement deeper into trance and further facilitated by hypnotic suggestions with each handshake.
