NLP Video: Swish Away Frustration at Work - Peter Freeth-The essence of an effective Swish Pattern is sequence, timing, interruption and direction. The great thing is that the Swish can be performed in multiple ways. Done internally, it is a way of redirecting your mind from the negative to the positive. -Using the example of frustrating things at work you can redirect people’s minds towards empowering alternatives through many different means... -Powerpoint slides can be superimposed on one another and you can use your imagination to invent new ways of shifting attention from one set of ideas to another. -The Swish Pattern is an all time classic NLP technique. In studying how people represent information and then make decisions based on those representations, Bandler and Grinder devised many techniques to create generative change. -The Swish Pattern sets a direction for the mind leaving the unconscious mind to seek different outcomes and solutions.
