-Sales may be the beginning of a transaction but it is negotiation that seals the deal, creates long term clients and therefore success.
-Sales is about attracting customers and clients while negotiation is building rapport and relationships.
-A sale really isn't a sale if there is no money changing hands. It is negotiation that ensures the money transfer takes place. Sales are really sales unless the client comes back for repeat business. Again, negotiation ensures that there is fertile ground for a customer to return many times there after.
-Sales and negotiation go hand in hand so be sure to devote the necessary time to developing both skills and then watch your business success multiply!
