-You can andle criticism from your inner critic and from others by feeding back and highlighting the positive intention.
-To do this, you must first presuppose there is a positive intention... there is some purpose that the critic is trying to achieve.
-A great line is "So what I think you're highlighting is...[positive intention]". This allows you to paraphrase the person by speaking what is really going on, thereby sidestepping the phrase they used (which may not be positive in nature).
